About

This is the Jinxbox ‘About’ page that will probably teach you nothing. I’ll change it later, but at the moment, make do with this.

First of all, I’m Leslie, the sole reviewer here. I’m a 16 year old girl and I live somewhere in the USA. Next year, I’m going to be studying in Sweden. Of course I love books, and I have ever since I learned how to read. Aside from that, I write, spend time with my friends and family, watch Doctor Who, Lost, and Law & Order, shop, and just generally enjoy life.

Secondly, Jinxbox. What’s there to say? This is a book blog for other teenaged people to read. I’m going to be reviewing books that are both YA – young adult if you’re not hip – and adult. It seems like no other teenage book blogs feature adult books, which I think isn’t right because hey, most teens read more than just YA. So this is my so small it’s practically microscopic contribution to the literary world. As for the name Jinxbox, I have no idea how I thought of that. I just wanted something with the word ‘Jinx’ in it and Jinxbox popped into my head. And it has two X’s in it. How many words have two X’s, huh? X is really an under-appreciated letter.
